second gay concert I attented this year..

December 27, 2007 · 12 Comments

I wasn’t supposed to attend the concert but in the last minute,my sister’s friend couldn’t make it..So,there was an extra ticket..I didn’t want to go but I was kinda persuaded to go..Out of obligation,I went reluctantl with my mum,sis and sis’s friend…So the concert was at a park about an hour’s drive from the city..Traffic was a standstill on the way there…

Look at the price of the ticket…Then multiply that by three…Dang….Had to go…

The stage…

Our seats…About 15 metres away from the stage…So they were pretty good seats..But one thing that really bugs me is that the chairs provided…Plastic chairs for a $300 ticket??dang..

The stage…Look at the speakers……..wow….

Many pictures of the gay dude…seriously gay…..gayer than that Malaysian Idol…

this dude entertained us first…opening act…god knows his name…All I know is that he’s a local singer..He sang the songs in the album , 10 Songs About Love…Not too bad…

the duo…not too shabby… But that local guy really sang his heart out..

Sir Elton John..you should have seen his outfit…flowers everywhere…haha..check out his glasses…There could be real diamonds on his gay purple glasses..

The man himself…

The ground was literally shaking…Super powerful speakers…serious amp…

Doing what he does best…

check out the flowers..hehehe..Sun sets around 9.00 pm here in Melbourne…It was getting pretty chilly…

Day turned to night…..gorgeous backdrop…

hmmmm…..I was frozen when I took this photo..So bloody cold..

The crowd going wild….

Attendance was really good…

Giving autographs…

He played his last song after this…A helicopter actually got him out from the park..

Lots lots of people leaving after the concert…I saw this obese lady lying down on the ground near the exit…I think she got a heart attack…dang..

so..all in all,it was a entertaining concert but I would rather go to a rock band concert like LP or American Rejects or something…

Ok..sidetrack a bit…The story of the 2-dollar-girl…So what happened was while I was enjoying my Aussie Burger,a girl in pink track bottom and black sweater came in…I was seating at the table nearest to the door..The girl just came in and demanded for $2..I said ,” Sorry,I don’t have.”

“Hmph….”, she replied and walked away…Then the sissy Jun Biao said,”Why didn’t she ask me??!  Why did she ask you only?”

So girls,if cash is short, you can easily seduce JB and swindle all his money easily…Come on,why should I give her $2? I don’t know her at all…But after that,I saw her going out and was kinda punching and kicking a guy playfully..Thru what I saw,it kinda hurt the guy …

I’m tired already…Still have a lot of posts to go…goodnight….zzzzzzzzz

the first week in the land down under…

December 18, 2007 · 10 Comments

KLIA…….

I left Malaysia with my mum,Jun Biao the sissy and Mr. BiG HeaD Chin Wei on the 10th of December 2007 at roughly ten in the morning..I wasn’t really excited about flying but Jun Biao the sissy was I think : it was his first time on an aeroplane..The flight was fine with friendly flight attendants serving you but there was one male attendant with a unhappy look on his face..All in all, on board music and movies were good..I watched The Simpsons , Family Guy , and a couple of episodes of House..So,it wasn’t that bad..I usually couldn’t finish food on the aeroplane but suprisingly,I finished everything..I guess I was hungry…

Arrived at Melbourne airport at 9.00 pm +..Took a cab to my sister’s place which cost approximately $60…dang! that’s like Rm180…Well,you can’t always convert to ringgit malaysia..otherwise, sim tia man..alright…time for pictures!! I’ll try to upload as many pics as I possibly can..

My sister’s birthday present…seriously,One Yard of Choco!haha

My sister’s shoes…………….A lot of shoes huh??? but wait….there’s more!

more shoes!

The sissy Jun Biao sleeping…look at him..sleeping almost in the middle of the bed and wrapping himself with the blanket like a cacoon.. I was sharing the same bed he was sleeping..damn…Woke up cold and I was right at the side of the bed…I almost fell when I woke up..That was how close I was to the side of the bed and he complains I snore..At least I don’t hog the blanket and the whole bed..

For the first few days,Jun Biao and I went exploring in the BIG CITY…We walked round and around..Took tramp rides around the city…Pretty interesting..Our feet were hurting after the first few days…I even had a cramp at my left calf…Both of us were exhausted after exploring the city…dead tired – it was fun…Chin Wei did tag along on the third day I think..We went to the Tennis Warehouse at Alexandra Parade…

These are called Spanish Doughnuts.,,They taste very similar to the yu char kuih..You eat them with hot chocolate…yummy…Had them at Fliders St. Station…

Nike Factory Outlet…Just Do It? Not really…There was nothing for me to buy…I was surprised that I wasn’t interested in anything…Even Jun Biao had nothing to get…However, things there aren’t that cheap..Most shoes are priced at $100 while some at $70 and $80…Went to other factory outlets : Adidas , Bilabong /Roxy , New Balance , Fila and others…I bought NOTHING!

the train station….there are three main train stations in Melbourne : Flinders St. Station , Melbourne Central and Flagstaff…

Federation Square…There is a Christmas show every night at 9.00pm from the 1st of December until the eve of Christmas…very entertaining show if you are watching it for the first time but it gets boring after you’ve watched it a couple of times…

Fed. Sq. …..see the maroon tramp?? It’s a free tramp which circles the city…

train tracks…..

We visited a church..I forgot what’s the name of the church though…However,it was a really breathtaking church..No doubt about that…If I’m not mistaken,it is the oldest church in Melbourne..

pretty…

Big Head and Jun Biao….

the altars..

the organ…

nice nice..

Limited edition shoes at Adidas Outlet…damn cool…

the four shoes above are Adidas Barricade IV…The shoes below is Adidas Barricade V…damn cool…the shoes cost around $200….boh lui to buy..

love this shoe..

This is what I called a public toilet….An automated toilet to be exact..I think Malaysia introduced the automated toilets around last year or so right?? OZ had them here for a quite some time already and they are free to be used..Free of charge! Even smelly , dirty , disgusting public toilets in Malaysia, you’ll have to pay at least 20 cents to enter..Public toilets here in Australia are damn clean even the toilets at the Victoria Market are clean..

damn cool toilet..haha…You only have 10 minutes to finish your ‘business’ though..A soothing yet pee-friendly music will be played during your visit..man..simply love the toilets..

cool…

Had dinner at a Korean restaurant with mum,sis and sissy…hehe…Food was great..I’ve gained a couple of pounds since I arrived here..No worries,I’ll lose them fast………….I hope..hehe

arrgghhh….I’m full / hungry ?? keke…

in the restaurant…nice setting…

got bored….so I did that ^ ^ ^

main dish with side dishes…really scrumptious food!

yummy…

the girl in the counter really looks like Tuan Tynn….but…TTT is slightly taller than her..otherwise she could be Tuan Tynn’s twin sister..Oh yeah..the girl in the black top is my sister..

Aussie’s version of Perodua Kancil…

Mitsubishi……..hmmm…looks similar to Proton Wira huh?? hehe.. Wonder who copied who???

Perodua Kembara???hmmm…

oh yeah…So far,I’ve seen one Proton Wira and three Proton Satria-s…haha…damn funny when I saw the cars…Can’t believe people here would buy such cars…Of all the other brans like Ford , Merz , BMW , Lexuz and etc. ,they bought Malaysian made cars…dang…

The battle of the minds..The Ah Pek is trying to psych the dude out..Look at his crazy eyes……………..

Christmas tree…It’s even more beautiful at night…

Police Station…

their’s burgers taste like McD’s Big Macs…One bugger burger cost like $5…It’s expensive if you convert..I bought a set consisting of two burgers and fries which sums up to $13.50..dang…

I went to Hungry Jacks simply because I was hungry…

Food here was much cheaper if compared to the Lord of The Fries..

It was a huge burger…With bacon and beef/chicken filling…delicious..I couldn’t believe that Jun Biao could finish his burger – he didn’t finish his fries…He couldn’t believe that he finished his burger as well..

yummy burger…cost me $ 12.50… one burger,fries and a drink…

a cafe near my sis’s apartment….look the price for nasi lemak….$9.00!

A one kilometer bridge I think…People here exercise at anytime…Some jog or do yoga under the hot sun at noon…Some even play tennis at this times…I even saw a couple of people jogging at ten o’clock at night…really weird…You don’t see people jogging at night in KL , do you?? haha…They’ll be probably robbed , raped and murdered…

some weird thing…modern art I supposed????

yeah!! Aus Open’s finals will be held here! Hope Federer gets to the finals..Nah…He WILL be in the final…

\
Vadafone Arena…Nearby to the Rod Laver Arena..

arghhh……Hand damn gatal man…But the court hire is too expensive : $25 per hour and university courts are about $12.50 per hour…

The buliding in the middle is called Eureka Skydeck…It has a movable platform which extends out to give you a great view…The floor is made of transparent material btw…So you’ll have a bird’s eye view of the city…

The Yarra River….

Melbourne Aquarium..

Another view of the Yarra River…

What can this be???

A propeller!

Took this photo on the way back from Victoria Market..

Myer…A large shopping complex…The shopping complex at Chadstone is much bigger than Midvalley Megamall I think…

ahhh…Forgot to rotate the photo…oh well..you can tilt your head a little I guess…Many many microphones heading towards a speaker…damn cool…$25 though…

The 9pm show I was talking about earlier..The one at Federation Square…I’v watched the show three times already…Still quite entertaining though…

Meet Hope… The red clown…

That Inspiration…The purple clown…

What happens is that every night, a new picture is revealed..see the one already revealed like the candle and dove? So it ends on X’mas eve… 24th will be the last show and also the last picture to be revealed…oh yeah…There is a competition for kids in which they have to guess which picture would come out..They have to fill in forms and guess the correct picture…

awwww……..hehe

And the picture of the day……………………………………

Mohawk Kid !! He is only five….cool wei….haha…

alright…damn tired of uploading photos d…………………it’s 4.48 am now…got to go to bed…take care…ciao..

Illegal downloads??

December 4, 2007 · Leave a Comment

woot……..read this article on The Star Online….please read if u r downloading stuff from the net….

 RM250k fine for illegal downloads

KUALA LUMPUR: If you download material illegally from the Internet, be prepared to fork out a minimum fine of RM250,000.

This is the warning from the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry to Malaysians who continue to illegally download songs, videos and the like.

Although this penalty was legislated more than 10 years ago under the Copyright Act 1987, it has yet to be fully enforced.

This was because the Government was still focusing on “physical enforcement”, encompassing continuous efforts to weed out pirated DVDs, VCDs and CDs sold on the streets and their operators.

Deputy Minister Datuk S. Veerasingam said that while this remains their main priority, cracking down on Internet download offenders was also gaining momentum.

“For the past three years, we have seen a significant reduction in copyright pirates.

“This is due to the continuous efforts of four enforcement officers. “We will also very soon make Internet download offenders our priority. The law has been there for the past 10 years,” he said Tuesday.

Veerasingam was speaking to reporters after opening the WIPO Asia-Pacific Regional Seminar on the Issues and Recent Developments of the WIPO Copyright Treaty and the WIPO Performances and Phonograms Treaty on behalf of Minister Datuk Shafie Apdal.

More than 75 participants from 11 countries are taking part in the three-day seminar.

Veerasingam added that the maximum fine for downloading material illegally from the Internet was as high as a whopping RM500,000.

The reality of it, Veerasingam said, was that as long as there were buyers, there would always be sellers.

“It doesn’t matter whether it’s buying a CD from the street or illegally downloading songs from the Internet. It’s still the same,” he said.

He thus urged Malaysians to be responsible consumers and realise the damage they caused to the various industries that painstakingly produced music, videos and movies only to find their work being used for free.

On the other hand, he also urged that products be reasonably priced so consumers would not consider cheaper alternatives, such as pirated or illegally downloaded products.

On advancements made by the country in this area, Veerasingam said various amendments to the law and the instalment of an Intellectual Property Court recently was testament to this.

holy crap…..most of us who have broadband at home, surely had downloaded a lot of movies, videos and songs la…how can the gov stop the WORLD WIDE WEB???it’s going to be interesting on how they can stop us from downloading illegally from the net…I prefer the term ‘file sharing’ to ‘illegal downloading’.. hehe
