Hello loyal readers…It’s been more than month since my last entry..I’ve been pretty busy in the past month because of my finals and also,the internet connection at my hostel is really really slow…So,uploading photos is a real torture….So,this post is really about my life in the past 2 months…What I did,where I went and so on …

As most of you all know,I’m currently studying at Sunway University College..I’m taking a foundation/pre-U programme called MUFY( Monash University Foundation Year)..It’s similar to high school education system – to be exact it is Year 12 of Australian’s schools..MUFY is only for non-Australians and those who were not under Australia’s high school education system..So basically,MUFY is for international students(from an aussie point of view)..
So,I went to KL on the 16th of March,a day before orientation…Went to college,paid fees and hostel rent..Then went to my hostel,SUN-U Residence…What can I say about the place?? It’s a pretty rundowned building so that’s why they are renovating and getting the building repainted..So….here are some pics…

So well,the rent for a twin-sharing room is at 580 bucks a month..god damn..It’s a cut-throat price but considering that it includes electrity and water fees , cleaning at least three times a week,internet connection [slow slow slow!] , an air-condition unit and a washing machine , I guess it’s worth it plus it’s like a 40 metres from the college’s main gate…
What about my roommate?will get into that later in this post..but what about my housmates? One is from Burma and he’s in the single room and another two guys from Sri Lanka who are in another twin-sharing room…The Indian dudes in my unit are usually damn bloody noisy until the wee hours of the morning (like 3 am)…They will usually bring there friends over to the common area of my unit and they would study at first but later,they would like shout, scream,sing and laugh(very very loudly) , run around and do other dumb dumb stuff like breaking into another room which is unoccupied so that their friends would have a place to crash for the night and playing with water as in using the shower to spray water at each other..I actually saw one of their friends using an umbrella to shield himself from being sprayed with water…Siao kias!
Orientation was okay I guess….Didn’t make any friends during orientation..Should have made a few friends during orientation but it seems like everyone has a gang already…So my mouth was glued shut…
Maths and English placement tests which was held in the MPH,not the bookstore,it’s the initials for Multi Purpose Hall…Fully air-conditioned and it’s on the 4th floor of my college…It’s like so much bigger than our ACS’s hall…
The following day,classes begun…

CS freaks…now COD freaks….the guy nearest is Jinden..he has an extraordinary large nose..and the other guy is Mark,he left sunway college to go to UNITEN…

Okay,that was pretty much the first week of college…Spent the weekend with JaCOD and Wei Jian…Stayed two nights at Wei Jian’s mansion[if compared to half of my room]…Ate sushi like 3 times a week?Ate Groovy Sushi and Dom Sushi…Groovy Sushi was damn ‘groovy’ with really groovy prices if you know what I mean..DON’T EVER EVER EAT THERE…NEVER….Waste money!

fast forward a couple of weeks…Cheng Beng…Came back to Sitiawan on a Friday…Then on Saturday,went to pay respect to my grandparents just opposite of my house..Then on Sunday,went back to Taiping…
It was raining….
If I’m not mistaken,the cementary is called Peace Memorial Park..something like that…
Death is a common denominator for all humans…agree?

We are on the way down the ‘path’……Hopefully none of us reach our ‘destination’ anytime soon…

Telematch…My english lecturer asked of one my classmates who is a real pain in the ass which event he was going to participate and my classmate answered that he was joining the telematch event..My english lecturer giggled and say,”Telematch are for those people who can’t do sports!”..she continued to laugh…My classmate responded ,”So insulting…..” [trying to be cute but failed miserably]
I participated tennis of course….It was fun actually because I played against the CC Bro,Andre,a MSSM player…Lost 4-3(10-8)…It was a good match for me…He won in the end and his elder bro,Darren got 2nd place…THere were only like 5 people playing..so Darren was the lucky one as he is already in the semis..So what he needed to do is just to win a match to enter the finals..Unlucky me to play againts Andre..But it was all good..Why CC Bros.? They would spend 10 hours straight in the cc near my college…10 hours for 10 ringgit..

AC @ SS15….The pretty darn happening place in SJ I suppose…There are like tonnes of food stalls there but the best part is the entertainment centres [not pubs/night clubs,if that is what you were thinking]..I’m talking about good old fashion wholesome fun which are cc ,foos and pool…haha..not too bad la k..we didn’t spend money on gambling and other ‘activities’…

ahhh… Autamans….Have to mention something here…Ever since DM 06/07 left the band,the band has improved A LOT…They were playing as a whole…Playing so enthusiastically and in such harmony that it brought tears to my eyes….haha…just kidding la..the band is still as sucky excellent and hardworking as they were before…

had Dominos Pizza for the first time…ah haa…Fast delivery but not so friendly….
Not bad actually..taste pretty good..Had coupons..Buy one large pizza, one free regular pizza..I had an extra coupon for a free personal pizza..so RM32.80 for 3 pizzas? worth it? yeah it was…No gov. tax,no service tax and no delivery tax! Beat that Pizza Hut!
Clean……….we finished the pizza like in 15 minutes..yeah..we were that hungry!

an iPod shuffle???!! it’s a 2 GB model…It can hold up to 435 +/-….It costs me RM269..and the 1GB model @ RM196.. I tested the battery life and it was very very impressive..I switched on my ipod at 10.59 am and I switched it off at 11.15 pm..no kidding..and it was still playing..I continued to switch it on around 2.00 pm the next day…and the battery died at around 6.00pm plus plus…so..All in all..battery life of the iPod Shuffle was approx. 16 hours at constant volume and there was no pausing , skipping songs or whatsoever…so yeah…16 hours of music…It’ll rock longer than you can…

hahhh…what’s that on the zinc awning? is that a chair? the management actually got the whole awning removed…well…Stupid ama-and-apa-bo-ka ppl did this…Probably my Sri Lankan housemates did this..haha..just a theory..there weren’t any missing chairs from my unit ..
hmmm…came back last two weeks and we decided to go fishing…Went to Kg. Sitiawan, Mr. Aussie Big Head’s kampung to get bait…dei Chin Wei, cacing now very expensive le…rm2 for a plastic bag of worms…sand worms la…the normal mud worms tak da on that day…Well,I went fishing with Jun Biao,Ang and Wei Jian..And guess what? Noone knows how to fish except me…haha…Apa la…King Scouts don’t know how to fish…ceh…We didn’t have any rods [as in fishing rods..don't think too pervertly] so what we did was old-school fishing..just holding the fishing lines with our hands…

So…Wei Jian aka ‘Indiana Jones’ ’s fishing line flew from his hand…He thought his fishing line was Indiana’s whip…Swing here swing there then ‘blooop’…His bait and weight went for swim…haha..Wasted a weight ,hook and bait which he used for a mere 5 seconds…haha..But being ‘Indiana Jones’, he was innovative..He found two stones as weight but his common sense was off the other day..Wat we do in fishing is that,we put the weight at the end of the fishing line and the hook above the weight..But Mr. Jones here put his hook at the end of the line and his weight above the hook..so yeah…haha…

Anyways,my last paper was on Thursday..So it is the HOLIDAYS for me d…haha..Unlike some people I know in Australia..Their last paper will be on this Thursday..haha…
After my chem paper,I went to pyramid and watched Superhero Movie…damn dumb movie la..Making fun of a great mind,Stephan Hawking..Making him look like a stupid and perverted person…Before the movie I had Yogur Berry,a Korean youghurt ice-cream…
Looks like ice-cream,tastes like youghurt and it costs a BOMB….RM 9.45 for THAT!!
